I’m most fluent in German and English, but I speak some Italian and Russian.

My main interest however lies in older (some might call them dead) languages. Old English, Latin and Gothic with their respective literature and sound are perhaps my favorites, but I’m always looking forward to discovering more old literature.

I mostly write poetry but occasionally I have time and ideas enough to work on some stories. Most of my poetry is in German, most of my stories are in English. Some day when any of it is complete-ish they might end up on here. In that case, head over to Poetry. From time to time I might end up writing something else entirely, that will then show up under Thoughts.

I’m an occasional amateur programmer. I do not treat software as anything too serious. Most of my projects are fairly small and interesting only for their incompleteness. However this page has some that I’m sometimes proud of.

Ripe (Rpn-Pipeline) is a concatenative, stack-based programming language meant to fill a similar niche like Awk in the Unix environment. The main focus of Ripe is on rapid prototyping, exploring ideas and doing sketchy math.

My dotfiles contain most of the configuration files for all the software I use daily. None of it is meant to be used by anyone but me, however some of it may contain useful bits and pieces. Feel free to steal anything you want.
